Beacon’s Back to school with Participant…

The Beacon is an independent day school in Amersham for boys aged 4 – 13 that provides an education of the highest quality delivered by excellent teachers within a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

In 2014 the school decided to implement Participant’s online registration and payment solution in order to have a single centralised admin portal to manage the booking process for their after school clubs, holiday camps, “School’s Out” activity courses and other school events such as concerts, plays and charity fundraisers

By using Participant, The Beacon has saved hundreds of hours of staff time as their administration processes have been streamlined significantly. Being able to set up a new course or event within minutes and have it automatically published on their website has been one of the most useful features.

As payments are made at the time of booking there are no cheques to process or hundreds on individual bank transfers to reconcile so the finance department are also delighted with the system as it makes their lives so much easier.

Finally. parents love using the system too as it means they can book and pay for their child’s activities at their convenience in a couple of minutes and do not need to root around trying to find their cheque book!

We were delighted when The Beacon started using Participant in 2014, and they have since used it to promote, sell and manage numerous activities across the school including;

• After School Clubs
• Holiday Programmes
• “School’s Out” Clubs
• Charity Events
• Fundraising Actions

Don’t take our word for it…
“The Beacon has used Participant since 2014 and it has proved extremely useful for managing our after school clubs, holiday programmes, charity events and more. In addition, excellent customer service has helped us remedy any issues quickly.”
Geraldine Bland – Events Co-ordinator- The Beacon
